Influencer Agrees to Pay Nike $1 Million in Shoe Trademark Suit

Nike Inc. settled its suit accusing a social media influencer of infringing the brand’s trademarks by selling counterfeit sneakers.

The US District Court for the Middle District of Florida on Wednesday entered a judgment and permanent injunction saying Eben Fox will pay Nike $1,000,000 in damages and barring him from using the marks in any way that indicates an affiliation with Nike. A jury trial was scheduled to begin May 12.
