IMDb.com Inc.'s plan to rebrand its ad-supported movie streaming service to Freevee infringes the trademarks of Freebie TV, a complaint filed in Texas federal court said.
Kamino Trade Federation, which owns Freebie, alleged that the marks Freevee and Freebie are confusingly similar “in appearance, sound, connotation, and commercial impression in the minds of an average consumer.”
