Hulk Hogan Sex Tape Copyright Suit Settles After Fair Use Ruling

The estate of Terry Bollea, the late wrestler known as Hulk Hogan, settled its lawsuit against radio personality Bubba the Love Sponge Clem over use of a sex tape in a documentary after a court found the claims unlikely to succeed.

The parties filed a joint notice of settlement Oct. 10 in the US District Court for the Middle District of Florida, though details of the terms weren’t immediately available.

The settlement comes three weeks after Judge Thomas Barber declined to block the release of “Video Killed the Radio Star: The Untold Story of the Hulk Hogan Sex Tape Scandal” ...
