Huawei, Developer Jointly Seek to Dismiss Phone Tech Patent Suit

Chinese telecommunications manufacturer Huawei Technologies Co. Ltd and a technology developer asked a federal court to to dismiss the patent infringement lawsuit between them over the sale of cloud meeting products and an android smartphone.

Huawei and VoIP-Pal.com agreed to end all allegations concerning US Patent Nos. 8,630,234 and 10,880,721, according to a joint motion to dismiss filed Thursday in the US District Court for the Northern District of Texas. The patents deal with mobile gateway capabilities in phones.
