HTC, Royal KPN Telecom Patent Suit Settles, Jury Trial Scuttled

Koninklijke KPN NV and HTC Corp. settled their portion of a long-running dispute over a data-transmission patent, and a federal judge in Delaware on Friday granted their request to cancel a jury trial.

Judge Gregory B. Williams vacated the trial date and paused all deadlines related to the claims between the parties, according to an order in the US District Court for the District of Delaware. The trial had been set to begin June 5.
