HP Win on Remote-Power Patent Claims Sent Back by Fed. Cir. (1)

A verdict that Hewlett-Packard Co. didn’t infringe a remote-power patent was sent back by the Federal Circuit Thursday, after it found the lower court misinterpreted the patent.

The U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit also gave HP a new opportunity to challenge the patent’s validity, finding the lower court wrongly blocked it from making some invalidity arguments.
