HP Inc. cannot use the name “Wex” for its business software solutions product after a federal judge granted a preliminary injunction in a trademark lawsuit filed by Wex Inc.

The continued use of HP’s worker experience platform name “Wex” would harm Wex Inc. more than a rebranding of the software would hurt HP, especially since the software is scheduled to launch before the case moves to trial, Judge John A.
