House to Release ‘Very Detailed’ AI Policy Plans, Obernolte Says

The House’s bipartisan task force on artificial intelligence is preparing to release its highly anticipated policy report with 89 recommendations for Congress to respond to the emerging technology, chair Jay Obernolte said.

The “very detailed” report, which could come as early as this week, spans more than 250 pages and offers key principles, findings, and proposals on AI, examining impacts on education, health care, and intellectual property, among several major policy areas, the California Republican said in an exclusive Bloomberg Government interview.
