Scandit uses Honeywell’s protected technology without obtaining permission or a license, according to a complaint filed Friday in the US District Court for the Eastern District of Texas.
Honeywell and co-plaintiff Hand Held Products Inc., a unit it acquired in 2007, asserted US Patent Nos. 9,304,376, 9,477,856, 10,360,426, 11,816,530, and 11,928,551 in the lawsuit. The patents relate to devices that can read barcode symbols and technology that can produce multimedia content on a display.
