Home Depot, AR Design Agree to End Augmented Reality Patent Suit

Home Depot Inc. and AR Design Innovations LLC are ending their lawsuit over a patent for three-dimensional interior design technology after reaching a settlement.

The home improvement store and AR Design filed a stipulation for dismissal Thursday in the US District Court for the Eastern District of Texas.

The two companies notified the court in May they had reached a settlement in principle and asked for all deadlines to be stayed in the lawsuit as they finalized the agreement. They notified the court in June that they had completed negotiations and requested another stay, which was subsequently granted.
