Home Depot Accused of Selling Knockoff LED-Lighted Outlet Covers

SnapRays LLC hit The Home Depot Inc. with a suit accusing the home-improvement giant of knowingly selling knockoffs of its patented powered electrical outlet covers.

Home Depot products infringe seven of the Utah-based company’s patents related to its Guidelight motion-activated covers, according to a complaint filed Tuesday in the US District Court for the Eastern District of Texas.
