Historic Tours of America Says Turtle Bus Infringed Trademark

Historic Tours of America Inc. is alleging that Colorado-based Turtle Bus LLC purposefully infringed its “Transportainment” mark.

The national touring company alleges that Turtle Bus used the mark on its website and at its physical locations. Historic Tours claims it made Turtle Bus aware of its infringement around March 2021, to which Turtle Bus responded that it wasn’t engaging in infringement by using the mark.

“Despite subsequent letters to resolve the matter, Plaintiff has had no further responsive communication from Defendant,” the complaint said. Historic Tours also included screenshots that allegedly showed Turtle Bus’ website using the mark.
