Hippocratic AI Inc., a Silicon Valley startup that applies generative artificial intelligence to healthcare education, alleges its reputation is being damaged by an upstart rival with a “negative reputation” that’s usurped its trade name and domain name.
Health GPT Inc., which was recently formed by California entrepreneur Munjal Shah, filed an intent-to-use US trademark application for “Hippocratic AI” less than two weeks after the founders of Hippocratic AI Inc. rejected his offer to buy their domain name, according to a complaint filed Thursday in the US District Court for the Northern District of California.
