The US Supreme Court shot down
The high court rejected the big tech companies’ petition for review Monday without explaining its reasoning.
In doing so, the justices sidestepped a question regarding whether parties in district court litigation are prevented from raising “any ground that reasonably could have been raised” in an administrative challenge at the Patent Trial and Appeal Board, even if those arguments weren’t actually used or brought up later.
