High Court Denies Review of Circuit Split in Code Copyright Case

Defense contractor Strategic Technology Institute Inc. failed to persuade the US Supreme Court to resolve a circuit split over whether judges or juries determine the copyrightability of computer code.

The high court denied Strategic Technology’s petition for a writ of certiorari on Monday.
