Hewlett Packard Enterprise Sued Over Network Systems Patents (1)

Hewlett Packard Enterprise Co. was sued for infringing patents that protect methods for network computing, communication path selection, and power management.

HPE’s Aruba and Juniper Networking products use similar methods as those described in US Patent Nos. 8,565,230, 8,046,619, 7,941,677 and 8,289,845, PulseLink Systems LLC said in a complaint filed Monday in the US District Court for the Eastern District of Texas.

PulseLink contacted HPE in May, stating the tech company needed a license to use the protected methods. HPE didn’t do a “serious investigation” to determine whether its products infringed the patents or if the protected ...
