Rothschild’s “MetaBirkins” brand he’s using to sell non-fungible tokens is a rip-off of Hermès’ famous “Birkin” mark, the French fashion house said in a complaint filed in the U.S. District Court of the Southern District of New York. Adding the generic term “meta” to the mark isn’t enough to differentiate from the “Birkin” mark, Hermès said.
