Hard Rock Cafe Sues Cannabis Company for Trademark Infringement

Hard Rock Cafe International (USA) Inc. filed a federal lawsuit in Fort Lauderdale, Fla., on Thursday claiming its trademarks are being wrongly used by Hard Rock Hemp LLC, a music promoter that markets CBD creams and edibles.

The suit, filed in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida, accuses Hard Rock Hemp of marketing products likely to be mistaken for the music memorabilia and skin and hair care products sold under the the restaurant and hotel chain’s “iconic” brand.
