Greensboro, N.C., defeated a minority-owned TV network’s race bias claims, as the Fourth Circuit Thursday affirmed the network failed to show it was wrongfully denied a loan to produce a television sitcom.
Even assuming any loan terms were burdensome or unreasonable, BNT Ad Agency LLC and its owners, Michael and Ramona Woods, didn’t demonstrate they were denied a loan because of racial animus, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit said in an unpublished opinion.
