The U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit dismissed patent owner Acceleration Bay’s appeal of rulings based on two other patents. The appeal is moot because Acceleration Bay only challenged one of multiple independent grounds that the U.S. District Court for the District of Delaware articulated for granting summary judgment, the court said in a precedential opinion.
