French luxury clothing and bag maker Goyard St-Honore dropped its trademark infringement lawsuit against Los Angeles-based sneaker customizer Shoe Surgeon.
The companies filed a joint brief Wednesday asking the US District Court for the Central District of California to dismiss the case, without outlining the reasoning behind the request. Each party will bear its own attorneys’ fees and costs incurred, according to the filing.
The parties reached “a mutually agreeable resolution” of the dispute, the defendants’ lawyer Meredith Williams from Rutan & Tucker LLP said in an email.
