GoPro Wins Again in Contour’s Long-Running Camera-Patent Fight

About a dozen models of GoPro Inc.'s Hero-series action cameras don’t infringe two Contour IP Holdings LLC patents covering technology for simultaneously recording and streaming video, according to a federal jury’s verdict.

Jurors found the GoPro products don’t infringe US Patent Nos. 8,890,954 and 8,896,694, according to an Oct. 10 verdict docketed Monday in the US District Court for the Northern District of California.
