Google Worker Advances Job Bias Lawsuit Over NYC-Triggered PTSD

Google LLC must face an employee’s claims that it refused to let him work remotely as an accommodation for PTSD stemming from a brutal attack he experienced in New York City, a federal judge ruled.

The former senior product lead says his severe anxiety and other post-traumatic stress disorder symptoms are triggered by traveling into the city for work, including taking public transportation and walking the streets, the US District Court for the Southern District of New York said.
