Google Wins Motion to Block DOJ, State Coordination on Ad Tech

A federal judge sided with Alphabet Inc.‘s Google in preventing the US Justice Department from coordinating discovery for its advertising technology monopolization suit with a similar state-led case against the tech giant.

The DOJ last year filed an antitrust suit against Google accusing the company of monopolizing the market for digital advertising. The case mirrors claims in a separate lawsuit brought by Texas and other states over Google’s ad tech practices.
