Google, Apple Hit With Mobile Payment Technology Patent Lawsuits

Google LLC and Apple Inc. were hit with similar allegations that their mobile payment applications and technology infringe a service provider’s patents.

Google and Apple allow cellphone users to connect credit and debit cards to digital wallet applications and make payments without their physical cards, DH International Ltd. said in separate lawsuits filed Friday in the US District Court for the Western District of Texas.
