Goodyear Can’t Escape Suit Over Self-Inflating Tire Technology

Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co. must face claims it stole trade secrets for its patented self-inflating tire technology, a federal court in Ohio ruled.

Coda Development S.R.O. presented enough specific evidence of trade secrets for the case to be suitable for a jury, the U.S. District Court for the District of Northern Ohio said. Goodyear failed to convince the court that Coda’s claims were unsubstantial.
