Globus Wins $9.5 Million From Life Spine at Patent Jury Trial

Life Spine Inc. owes Globus Medical Inc. $9.5 million after a federal jury in Delaware found four models in its ProLift line of spinal implants infringe a Globus patent.

Jurors awarded Globus $6 million in lost profits and a $3.5 million royalty for infringement of US Patent No. 8,845,731, according to a verdict in the trial’s damages phase issued Friday in the US District Court for the District of Delaware.
