Glass Smoking Pipe Maker Scales Down Trademark Suit Blitz

A glass smoking pipe maker, which flooded a Florida federal court with trademark infringement lawsuits in July, continued protecting its brand name in August but at a slower pace.

German-based glass pipe manufacturer RooR and its U.S. licensee Sream Inc. filed 22 trademark complaints in the U.S. District Court for District of New Jersey in August, and two each in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Louisiana and the U.S. District Court for Eastern District of California.
