GeoComply’s Gambling Locator Software Patent Bounced by Judge

Xpoint Services LLC survived a patent infringement lawsuit brought by rival GeoComply Solutions, Inc., over software designed to help gambling firms identify the locations of users attempting to place bets on the Internet.

Judge William C. Bryson, a circuit judge sitting by designation as a judge in the US District Court for the District of Delaware, on Friday dismissed GeoComply’s suit against Xpoint on grounds that the patent was invalid.
