Game Maker Seeks Copyright Judgment Over NBA 2K19 Dance Step

The creator of a basketball simulation video game sued an Atlanta-based rapper in California federal court over claims that celebratory dance moves used by characters in the game copied copyrighted choreography.

Brandon Sims sent letters alleging copyright infringement and demanding an unidentified amount of money, Take Two Interactive Software Inc. told the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California.
