Galderma Didn’t Cause Firm to Lose Bid for $100 Million Deal (1)

Galderma SA, a Swiss drugmaker and former subsidiary of L’Oréal SA and Nestlé SA, mostly escaped a lawsuit alleging that breached agreements inked in 2014 over a training tool for aesthetic injections cost a California-based injection technology firm a potential $100 million deal with Allergan.

Judge Gregory B. Williams, in an opinion unsealed Oct. 6 in the US District Court for the District of Delaware, granted Galderma’s requests for judgments barring any damages, throwing out claims of stolen trade secrets, and finding no infringement of the product’s unique design or of US Patent Nos. 9,792,836 and 10,290,232 ...
