Full Federal Circuit Will Hear Case on Timing of Veteran Claims

The full Federal Circuit will consider whether the deadline for veterans to file service-connected disability claims can be pushed back for good cause.

The court took the unusual step of deciding on its own to hear the case en banc after a three-judge panel questioned at argument last month how to reconcile an earlier circuit decision with U.S. Supreme Court precedent.
