FSU Demands Patent Suit Against AT&T, Verizon Remain Intact

Florida State University’s intellectual property licensing firm urged a federal judge against splitting its patent allegations against AT&T Inc. units, Cellco Partnership, doing business as Verizon Wireless, and T-Mobile US Inc. over their 5G wireless network service into multiple cases.

The wireless carriers agreed to jointly commercialize 5G capabilities through Aduna, the carriers’ joint venture, Florida State University Research Foundation Inc. said in a response brief filed Tuesday in the US District Court for the Northern District of Florida.
