‘Fortnite’ Maker Sued for Using Saxophonist’s Dance Moves

Epic Games Inc. violates saxophonist Leo P’s trademarks and right of publicity by including his “signature” dance move in Fortnite, according to a recent complaint.

The complaint, docketed April 26 in the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, is one of several lawsuits filed by artists alleging that Epic stole their likenesses and dance moves for players to use in the popular battle royale game, including former “Fresh Prince of Bel Air” actor Alfonso Ribeiro and rappers 2 Milly and BlocBoy JB.
