DataCloud Technologies, a patent-monetization company based near Atlanta, Ga., alleged the NASDAQ-traded cybersecurity company failed to license DataCloud’s protected technology before incorporating it into FortiGate VM firmware, FortiClient virtual private network, certain FortiOS firewall configurations, and several Fortinet website features, according to a complaint filed Tuesday in the US District Court for the Eastern District of Texas.
