Foremost Insurance Wins 11th Cir. Revival of Trademark Dispute

A Farmers Insurance Group subsidiary’s infringement lawsuit over its FOREMOST trademarks will head to trial after a federal appeals court in Atlanta overturned a ruling in favor of a company that sold title insurance for a Florida law firm.

  • A trial is needed in the case between Foremost Insurance Co., a multi-billion dollar company that has sold insurance for seven decades, and Foremost Title and Escrow, formed by firm Stok Folk + Kon in 2015, the US Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit held on Thursday.
