Ford Hit With Lawsuits Over Patented EV Power, GPS, Radar Tech

Ford Motor Co. built its electric-vehicle power systems, charging units, GPS services, and radar modules using patented technology it never licensed, separate federal lawsuits said.

Technologies used in Ford’s vehicles and connected services infringe two Value8 Co. patents and eight Bunker Hill Technologies LLC patents, according to the complaints, filed Monday in the US District Court for the Eastern District of Texas.
