The suit escalates a fight that started when Kageta told Ford in August 2017 about the alleged infringement, according to a Tuesday filing in the US District Court for the Eastern District of California.
The asserted patents involve backup camera systems and interfaces generally helping drivers move in reverse and see what is behind towed trailers.
