The lawyers that do the best with juries at patent infringement trials are the ones who come in with very focused arguments, U.S. District Judge Alan Albright said.
Albright, who has made his federal court in West Texas a patent litigation hot spot, recommended that lawyers hold several mock trials to see which issues resonate with a jury to winnow down their arguments to those that are most effective.
