Flowserve Hit with Texas Patent Suit Over Energy Recovery Device

Energy Recovery Inc. filed patent infringement allegations against industrial machinery provider Flowserve Corp. over its desalination system device.

The Flex device receives and rejects feedwater to help with a desalination system, according to a complaint filed Tuesday in the US District Court for the Northern District of Texas. Energy Recovery said the allegedly infringing device uses similar systems as US Patent No. 9,695,795.
