A man trying to revive a copyright claim against Ricky Martin for copying a music video he entered into a contest was pressed by a critical panel on his fourth trip to the First Circuit.

Luis Adrian Cortes-Ramos told the US Court of Appeals for the First Circuit during oral argument Friday that he never signed his rights to his work over to Sony Music Entertainment when he entered its “SuperSong” contest in 2014.
