Fintiv Denied Emergency Bid to Halt Apple Patent Trial in Texas

The Federal Circuit rejected patent owner Fintiv Inc.'s emergency bid to delay its upcoming Aug. 4 trial against Apple Inc.

Fintiv didn’t clear the high bar for winning on a petition for writ of mandamus filed earlier this week just days ahead of the trial’s start, the US Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit wrote Friday in a short unsigned order.
