Fervo Energy, Ormat Resolve Geothermal Turbine Patent Dispute

Fervo Energy Co. and Ormat Technologies Inc. told a Texas judge they have resolved their patent dispute over turbines for geothermal energy.

Judge George Hanks Jr. of the US District Court for the Southern District of Texas dismissed the dispute with prejudice Tuesday after the companies notified the court about their settlement.
The companies said in a Feb. 17 stipulation they agreed to dismiss Fervo’s allegations and each party will bear its own costs and expenses.
