Lawyers George Sink Sr. and George Sink Jr. have settled trademark claims over the use of their names to advertise their law practices, according to filings in the District of South Carolina.
The U.S. District Court for the District of South Carolina had granted George Sr.'s preliminary motion to ban George Jr., his son, from using the “George Sink” name in his firm’s email address and website, on Facebook, and on the South Carolina Bar website. The settlement would make the injunction permanent.
