A legal dispute between a father and son over the names of their competing law firms has resulted in a preliminary injunction preventing the son from using trademarks similar to his father’s.
George Sink Sr. started his law firm in 1997, and has been using the registered mark “George Sink PA Injury Lawyers” and related web addresses since at least 1999.
George Sink Jr. is also a lawyer. He worked for his father for a short time but left the firm in early 2019.
