Fashion Brand Shein Settles Copyright Lawsuit Over Art Prints

Fast-fashion brand Shein, owned by the China-based company Zoetop Business Co., agreed to settle a copyright infringement lawsuit brought by an artist who claimed the company sold wall paintings containing her art without permission.

Court documents filed Wednesday in the US District Court for the Central District of California said the parties have reached a settlement in principle and they anticipate filing a dismissal within four weeks.

Attorneys for the parties didn’t immediately return requests for comment about the settlement.
