Luxury fashion company Chrome Hearts LLC dropped its trademark lawsuit over the name of iconic musician Neil Young’s new band.
Chrome Hearts voluntarily dismissed its suit against Neil Young, his “Neil Young and the Chrome Hearts” bandmates, and his company The Other Shoe Productions Inc. filed in the US District Court for the Central District of California. The California fashion house had filed its suit in September, and Young hadn’t filed an answer in the case.
Details on the nature of the resolution weren’t immediately available. Counsel for both parties didn’t immediately return requests for comment.
