Celebrity-biography website Famous Birthdays LLC agreed to end its data-scraping copyright lawsuit against an influencer-marketing website in California federal court.
Famous Birthdays and Passes Inc. jointly agreed to dismiss the case Monday with prejudice in the US District Court for the Central District of California. The agreement comes after a September ruling that dismissed Famous Birthday’s Computer Data Access and Fraud Act claims but allowed copyright claims to move forward.
