Exelon Loses Bid to Toss Copyright Suit on Forwarded Newsletters

A unit of Exelon Corp. must face allegations that its employees infringed copyrights when they forwarded emails that had Energy Intelligence Group Inc.’s trade publications attached, after a federal judge in Chicago denied Exelon’s motion to dismiss the case.

Energy Intelligence produces several newsletters and trade publications on the global energy industry, including Nuclear Intelligence Weekly, first published in 2011.
