A former employee of YouTube megastar MrBeast urged a federal judge to dismiss a trade secrets lawsuit accusing him of taking thousands of confidential business documents.
Leroy Nabors, an ex-IT consultant in 2023 and a MrBeast development team member in 2024, argued that his former employer failed to demonstrate the files in his possession are trade secrets, or that he acquired them to compete with the company, according to a motion to dismiss filed June 13 in the US District Court for the Eastern District of North Carolina.
